New Haircut

Some of you know that I been cutting Dylan's hair for some time now, and it always comes out decent :)

Well, last week my skills came to an end as I ruined his hair horribly.

Tom decided to fix it and it actually came out cute :)

Everytime Tom does something manly around the house Dylan tries hard to do the same. Here he is "helping" daddy fix his bike ;)

Dylan is really into dressing himself. He's good at putting on his crocs, but he still needs more time to master shirts and pants.

Big Boy!

Yesterday Dylan tried on my flip flops and walked around and hid from me. Then before naptime he looked into daddy's sock drawer, pulled a brown sock, put it on all by himself and walked to his room to play :)

Lake Murray 08/01

Over the weekend my mom came to get away from the 115 degree heat back home (yikes!) We went to Lake Murray on Saturday and Dylan had a great time riding his trike, chasing birds and squirrels.

Messy beach trip

On 07/26 we decided to take Dylan to the beach, he loves playing in the sand although he's not too crazy about cold water.

Well, after Tom dunked him in the water, he decided to roll around in the sand until he was a muddy mess, then he got up towards the ladies next to us who had a toddler girl and lots of sand toys. The older lady looked scared as this muddy monster was approaching them all crazy! To make the story short, we had to leave early, because every time we dunk him he did the same.

At the end we were all a muddy mess and the car ended up horribly dirty. I couldn't take pictures of the final result due to the camera being all muddy but you get the picture, no pun intended :)

Dairy Queen date

After all the teething, one night of fever, sleepless nights and poor appetite, Dylan seems to be back to normal. He is sleeping through the night and eating like his daddy, so we decided to take him on a special trip to dairy queen on July 25th.
